Anushka Sharma Girl of the moment !
Anushka Sharma has got the date May 7 circled on her calendar and she’s been striking off each day that passes. The lissom Bangalore girl is obviously nervous but also excited about her second release Badmaash Company this Friday.
Having got a dream debut opposite Shahrukh Khan in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi a year-and-a-half back, Anushka is now looking forward to cement her place in the big league. She already has a third film coming up with Yashraj Films. Apart from that she’s also signed director Nikhil Advani’s film Patiala House starring Akshay Kumar in the lead.
From her humble start into showbiz as a model, Anushka has slowly but steadily made inroads into tinsel town. Coincidentally, in ‘Badmaash Company’, too, she plays a model who comes from a small town but encounters the sleazy side of the modelling world in Mumbai. Thereafter she becomes part of a group that cons people.
